Weblogic installed successfully but Oracle Forms 11g doesn't run

    984033
Good morning everyone! How are you feeling?
So, yesterday I installed the both ones on my computes, using the Windows 7 OS in a boot camp in a Macbook.

      Well,
I've tested the weblogic + forms 11g, and when I try to access the link to make some test with the weblogic appears for me that Weblogic was installed with success..
but only with the pattern link, like http://mymachine:9100/forms/frmservlet

in this page it's everything ok according with the weblogic I guess..
but when I try to run the forms from Oracle Forms 11g, the forms opens the internet explorer, appears two words "ORACLE FORMS", but afters the page is not showed for me..

appears to me that "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

I really don't know what I can do... because in one part is everything ok, but maybe left some part in some file to configure I think.

      Thank you all..
      Victor

Lets start with the obvious ones: did you start WLS_FORMS and did it come up successfully?

          cheers

            Yes sure,

I've started the WLS_FORMS with success.

            tks!

OK, so the testform (http://localhost:9001/forms/frmservlet) runs fine, does it? If it does then how do you start your forms application? Did you create/edit the webconfig in the formsweb.cfg to suit your needs?

              cheers

hm...Yes, the testform runs fine... now, I didn't edit the formsweb.cfg because I thought that I didn't need...
What exactly I've to edit there? I need to edit something?

                My formsweb.cfg it's like that:

                >

                formsweb.cfg

                # $Id: formsweb.cfg /main/164 2010/10/19 05:20:53 atyagi Exp $

                # This section defines the Default settings. Any of them may be overridden in the
                # following Named Configuration sections. If they are not overridden, then the
                # values here will be used.
                # The default settings comprise two types of parameters: System parameters,
                # which cannot be overridden in the URL, and User Parameters, which can.

                # SYSTEM PARAMETERS

                # Some parameters specify file names: if the full path is not given,
                # they are assumed to be in the same directory as this file. If a path
                # is given, then it should be a physical path, not a URL.

                    Tony,
I'm trying to run the form with the Oracle Forms 11g, normally, like I'd started to create a new one.

Seems to me that the Java Applications doesn't run when I want to run from oracle forms builder app.
                    It's strange.

But what command line/url are you invoking in the browser to make the form run?

But what command line/url are you invoking in the browser to make the form run?
When I run the forms, I usually call it from Forms Builder, it calls the internet explorer using an encrypted url, but only in the end.. it's like this:

                        >
                        http://localhost:50830/Dadasj348wWE323EWRWWE
                        >

And after that call, it's directed to this one:
                        >
                        http://machine:9001/forms/frmservlet
                        >

and appears - Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

I believe that the Oracle Forms Builder just sent to Weblogic the url to invoke the forms right?

                          SO if you try:

                          http://machine:9001/forms/frmservlet?form=yourtestform

Does it run your form then (assuming that you have se the FORMS_PATH in your env file)?

                            Open the browser (IE) settings:

Tools > Internet options... > Advanced (tab) > scroll down to "Security"

Check the box that says "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer"

Click OK to save the changes. Close all open browsers then retest.

                                Just one another question..
Works using the link specifying the Form's name..

but calling from Oracle Forms not works yet..
This setting is inside of formsweb.cfg?

                                Tks

I've tried to do work using this url:

                                  http://machine:9001/forms/frmservlet?form=yourtestform

It shows that it's working perfectly.

Now I've to learn how to set to run my forms directly from Oracle Forms 11g.
Because the webpage doesn't appear to me when I call from it.
