I know That a i don't need a listener configuration to access my database but still when i check the lsnrctl status it should work
How do I ask a question on the forums?
[oracle@localhost ~]$ lsnrctl stop LSNRCTL for Linux: Version 126.96.36.199.0 - Production on 12-JAN-2013 07:18:15 Copyright (c) 1991, 2010, Oracle. All rights reserved. Thank you so much for all the replies but still my question is unanswered.
My database version is 10.2.0.1 which is installed on OEL4 version.
when i try to start the listener it throws all the errors mentioned in subject line.
I'm unable to copy data from my vmvare so that i can give you better understanding about the problem by pasting my listener.ora,tnsname.ora and listener status
