    Oracle forms install error.....

    Jcgo-Oracle
      Hi

Installing Forms 11.1.2 ( latest) on RHEL 5.5.

1), I have created a weblogic domain using QuickStart.

2). Now in process of installing forms. It errors out when in the step of " Creating an ASINstance".
It looks like its trying to connect to port 7002

      java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused; No avail
Caused by: java.rmi.ConnectException: Destination unreachable; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused; No available router to destination

      at weblogic.rjvm.RJVMFinder.findOrCreateRemoteServer(RJVMFinder.java:238)
      at weblogic.rjvm.RJVMFinder.findOrCreateInternal(RJVMFinder.java:200)
      ... 35 more

That error is usually indicative that services have not been started....but I looked at the status and it says Admin and managed Servers have been started....

      any ideas?

          Hi,

You should not create the domain with quickstart, the forms's installer will create it for you.

When installing forms you should select 'install and configure' so installer will create the domain for you, also weblogic should be shutt down for this process.

          try reinstalling :)

          Regards
          Carlos

            Thanks
I reinstalled and it went past the AHS instance creation.

              Hi,
Can you provie the log in more detail level. You can find the log entry from installer log/out file located in your OracleInventory/logs folder.

              Regards,
              Kishore
