My system details..
E-Buisness Suite R12.1.3 running over Oracle Enterprise Linux 5.3.
Exchange Server 2010.
I configured sendmail and it is working fine when i sent email from linux to our domain.
Our Exchange Server 2010 is SSL enabled.
I did SMTP test it is OK.
I tried to configure Mailer it returns
Unable to connect to the email account. Check the host, user name
My SMTP AND IMAP are on the same server and is ssl enabled .SMTP works fine but inbound email account throws error as
unable to connect to the email account. Check the host, user name

I tried the metalink id solns...but still the issue persists.
I have even imported the IMAP SSl certificate in the server but still in vain.
The network team have provided with the IMAP server,email account and username/password.
However the username account provided is optibilt\oracle.system where optibilt is the domain name.
where as email accnt is firstname.lastname@example.org
Could this be the cause.?
