Oracle Forms 11gR2 is not certified with Weblogic 12c, you must use Weblogic 10.3.5 or 10.3.6 for your installation.
You can check the certification matrix for the latest Oracle Forms's release:
Sir but the cert matrix for Weblogic server 10.3 doesn't say that it is compatible with Win7 64bit.
It is compatible with Win Vista 64 bit nut with a 32bit JVM
I currently have a 64 bit JVM build 1.6.0_38-b05
And even in the cert matrix for Forms (i.e. the link u posted) it doesn't say that you need Weblogic Server installed, it is required if the JVM version is 1.7+.
So please help me as i am totally confused.
Maybe the cert matrix for weblogic doesn't say that it is compatible with Win7 but since Forms/Reports11gR2 is certified with Win7 in development mode weblogic is also certified with win7, also Weblogic 10.3.5 or 10.3.6 is a requirement to install Forms/Reports11gR2 as you can see in the forms's installation guide:1 person found this helpful
If you are going to use jdk 1.7 you can only use weblogic 10.3.6 since jdk 1.7 is only certified with weblogic 10.3.6 as certification matrix says.
And this is the installation guide for the version you are trying to install, just follow the steps:
Hope this helps you. :)
Have downloaded and installed Weblogic Server 10.3.6.
Stopped the Node Manager Service in Windows and ran the Forms and Report setup.
It got installed but still when it comes on the configuration page it just stops.
Which exact Forms version are you trying to install ??
both weblogic and forms installers are 64bits version ??
what logs says about the error ???
Thank you for your help sir...
I have been able to complete the installation of Forms and Reports on my machine.
But now when i try to connect to my Oracle Db from Forms Builder or Report Builder it shows an error...
ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified.....
Have tried copying the tnsnames.ora file from Oracle directory to Forms Directory...But it didn't work...
That tnsnames.ora file must reside at ORACLE_INSTANCE\config directory
Hope this helps you :)
