Hi,
Im working for an oaf application,Few Users of my application are able to upload different malicious files throw browse button and run them successfully..can anyone describe the types of virus files and how to prevent them from being uploading.

    Stop all .EXE files to upload.

    You should think about why they should be able to upload and even execute those files.
    can anyone describe the types of virus files and how to prevent them from being uploading.
    That would require an instant virus scan of the uploaded file given the fact that you are permanently up to date with your virus definitions and your users are not writing their own executables (like e.g. a C-Program which deletes random files etc.) which would entirely escape the virus scan.

    So instead poorly guarding this open barn door you should close this security hole once and for all by preventing your users uploading and executing files in the first place.
