I want to insert values in a Table and I want one of the value as a return output, like this: INSERT INTO Employees (EmpID, Name, Designation) VALUES (111, 'Sam', 'Manager') RETURN EmpID
When I execute the statement, one row should be inserted into Employee Table and should return EmpID of that particular row, i.e: 111. How to write a sql statement for this.
Doh, I guessed you pointed to the docs (for example: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/appdev.112/e25519/returninginto_clause.htm#LNPLS01354)
in your post and didn't bother to check, sorry about that ;)
Thanks for pointing out.
