Is there a 11g Form Builder GUI tool for Linux

Hi,

Like in Windows, is there a "Form Builder" GUI tool for Linux for 11g Forms.

I am not talking about Form compiler (i.e. FRMCMP.sh).

What I am asking is whether there is a graphical Form Builder tool where we can open Forms (just like in Windows), drag and drop items to the canvas, and modify, attach libs, compile and create FMXs in Linux.

Thanks in Adavance

    Hello,

I think when you are installing Forms11g in linux you can select to install forms builder and reports builder, although they are not certified to work in Linux Systems in fact they are not certified even for develop in Windows Server.

In some way you must develop in Windows System like windows xp or windows 7 and then move the fmb files to a Linux System or windows server to be compiled (production).

Why do you want to develop forms on Linux?

There was a Linux/Unix version for 10g, but the Windows version always had much better usability. I have not looked to see if there is an 11g Linux developer.

Most people developing for Linux production will use the Forms developer on Windows platform for development and maintenance.
