Rman incrementally Updated Backups Query

Hi,

I am trying to learn about RMAN Incrementally Updated Backups. I created a database on Server A thru following script:

run
*{*
allocate channel c1 type disk format 'E:\incr_backup\%U';
recover copy of database with tag 'incr_update';
backup incremental level 1 tag 'incr_update'
for recover of copy with tag 'incr_update' database;
sql 'alter system archive log current';
backup format 'E:\incr_backup\al_t%t_s%s_p%p' (archivelog all delete input);
host "copy E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\database\.ora E:\incr_Backup\ ";*
*crosscheck backup;*
*delete obsolete;*
*release channel c1;*
*}*
*exit;*

I restored full database on Server B (Test DB) using backup files of Server A .The Server B is exactly same in directory structure as the Server A e.g ('E:\archive\','E:\incr_backup\'). I copied password and spfile thru OS COPY command. The script i used is :

*startup nomount;*
*SET DBID=1290639809*
*set controlfile autobackup format for device type disk to 'E:\incr_backup\%F';*
*restore controlfile from autobackup;*
*alter database mount;*
*run*
*{*
*restore database;*
*recover database;*
*sql 'alter database open resetlogs';*
*}*
*exit;*Everything works fine except last step i.e."alter database open resetlogs;". Its showing missing log.I have to login to sql and type this command to open the database.

Also i have a small doubt.

Suppose i restore and recover entire database on server B and didn't open the database thru resetlog option i.e (database status is STARTED), can i copy new archives from Server A and apply them on Server B. Please show me the steps if we can do it.

Best Regards,
