        Hi

May you kindly check for me if this variable path is correct or maybe there is something amiss about it:

        E:\StageR12\VIS\apps\tech_st\10.1.2\bin;E:\StageR12\VIS\apps\tech_st\10.1.2\jdk\jre\bin\classic;E:\StageR12\VIS\apps\tech_st\10.1.2\jdk\jre\bin;E:\StageR12\VIS\apps\tech_st\10.1.2\jlib;E:\StageR12\VIS\apps\tech_st\10.1.3\bin;E:\StageR12\VIS\db\tech_st\11.1.0\bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\system32\WBEM;c:\cygwin\bin;c:\G777\VC\bin

I suspect maybe my path for Oracle_Homes is bad becasue when I try to log in SQLPlus it states:

" Procedure entry point longjmp could not be located in dynamic link library orauts.dll"

But I searched for the file "orauts,dll".. it is present!!!

        Thanks

I have tried everything possible to log in SQLPlus. I used USERNAME-SYSTEM and PASSWORD -SYSDBA.. but it is refusing to connect to my Database. I searched for the environment file, and can not see it at all. The only file I got is the one located in E:\StageR12\VIS\db\tech_st\11.1.0\sqlplus and the one in E:\StageR12\VIS\db\tech_st\11.1.0\BIN. I doubt if these are the env.files.
Since you are on Windows, look for *.cmd files under $ORACLE_HOME directory -- E:\StageR12\VIS\db\tech_st\11.1.0
I also tried to log in as manager..password as sys but it is refusing..
          It is system/manager

          Thanks,
          Hussein

You should not get this error if you source the correct env file -- http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E18727_01/doc.121/e12841/T120505T120509.htm#F_92659x3Ax20H1x20Head1x3Ax20Environmentx20Settings

              Hi Hussein!!

About my problem....I reinstalled the whole Application . I read you link..and got into some other documents from oracle docs...Now the thing is I can manage to get into the admin utility.. but now ..its like I am not so sure about the generation of tht file "ORG fmx",,by the way (as you stated I change it from OEOXORD to ORG)...Last time I had stated tht I can not open some forms in Oracle ebus--suite like the form for Sales Orders etc....

One more thing...I am trying to run auto config..I am not sure as to what to fill in here:

Enter the full path to the context name:

                              Enter the APPS password:

what do I put in here??

                              Thanks

The log file entries you have posted above does not help much.

To run AutoConfig, you just need to type the apps password which is "apps" by default -- Using AutoConfig to Manage System Configurations in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 [ID 387859.1]

                                Thanks,

                                  Hi

I used APPS as my password in auto config.. but when I enter..the prompt just vanishes and there is no activity!!!!

                                  I did this:

Enter the path for context file: E:\Home12\VIS\apps\apps_st\appl\ad\12.0.0\bin
                                  Enter Password: APPS

ENTER..it just vanishes away...Tried to check the log file,,...they aint there!!!!..I checked in Apache, 2jee and opmn..there is nothing there....

what am I doing wrong..will be greatful to hear your opinion.

                                  thanks

Please stop the application services, source the application env file and issue adautocfg.cmd script and this will prompt you to type the apps password. Once you are done, please start the application services and check then.

                                    Thanks,
