Have Others Solved Chinese (or Other HAN Characters) in Spec Print to PDF ?

We are on PLM4P v. 6.1.0.1 and have recently deployed to our China R&D group for Supplier Collaboration. We have the following use case and I am wondering if anyone has already solved or found a work-around for the scenario:

When data is entered into a spec objects using Chinese characters and the text is too long for the print area, it runs off the page. Examples: Ingredient Statement and Combined Statement. We do not have this issue in English because the white spaces between words provides the mechanism to word wrap to a new line in the spec print function. According to the users that are in-country, it is not natural to Chinese put spaces between characters so there is no wrapping in the printout.

I am seeking suggestions on how we can programmatically wrap this text to be included onto the printed page.
