More than one listener per cluster

Is it possible to have more than 1 server running the listener in the same cluster? Currently our configuration is having one listener/cluster , is it possible to run multiple listeners ?

          Hi,

you probably are looking at using Backing Map Listeners? Using BMLs with your partitioned cache services, a listener will run on each storage-enabled JVM/member.
Events will only be dispatched once except in some cases.

More info about how to use this type of listener here:

          http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24290_01/coh.371/e22837/api_events.htm#BEIBIHGA

          Hope this helps.

            Hi,

You can have as many listeners as you want by programatically attaching them to the cache.

            cache.addListener(..)

Each of the nodes that will invoke the above code will receive the events.

            Cheers,
