You can specify the log file location under the menu'tools->preferences->environment' more. Own it and different log. There you can define a file for the log.

if you use adf logger by default the log is in:
The log files for Integrated WebLogic Server are in a location similar to:
but you can configure the logs,read the doc here.

Actually my problem is "Farsi Language" (RTL) :
when I print the data retrieved from DB into Log file, it's not readable ! eg : ???????
first I Had the Idea that JDeveloper's Log viewer is not able to show Farsi characters and I wanted to view it in another text editor.
but now I have the same problem in other text editors as well.
I think the encoding in which the log is written needs to be changed into say : UTF8
So , where can I change that encoding ?!

Not sure if this works, bit you can try to start your server with the option
You add this option tho the servers startup options.
I use it in project run properties and application and it does not work
unfortunately it didn't work for me neither .
