I still can't find the Schema remapping function button when I am using SQL Develper 3.2 to migrate database from MS SQL Server 2008 to Oracle 11g. SQL Developer 3.2 automatically create a default schema for me (azteca_KSMMS), however I need to remap the default schema from azteca_KSMMS to azteca, and put all the tables, views, indexes and procedures under azteca. It seem I can't use schema remapping function during Database Migration process to map default schema to a new one. Please give me more details about how to do schema-remapping during the migration process. Thanks for your help.
The old manual style still works - create the scripts for the migration objects, then use search & replace to rename the schema for all affected objects and finally run the SQL script to create them in the Oracle database.
Best to rename the schema name before conversion.
