    Email Alerts issue

    981253
      Hi guys .

I have configured my OC to send mails to my Outlook using localhost setting meaning that my Server will be sending Emails to me.
      My settings on OC are:
      Email Adress : <my email address>
      mailhost: localhost
port : 25 (since its mandatory to give)
      mail user name : root
      password : <root password of EC>
      connection security: STARTTLS

Once any alert is generated , the mail does reach the /var/spool/mqueue of my EC server. A sample mail is :

      root@ops # pwd
      /var/spool/mqueue
      root@ops # more qfr0UHnI7F025943

There is no To: field and secondly , Deferred: Name server: mailhost: host name lookup failure is stated in this .

      How can I resolve ?
