Did you resolve this, i have the same problem. In my case the database had stalled due to drive space filling up and in the mean time it missed some transactions.
Now i am stuck with not able to add the storage back, as the VM Manager assumes it is already there based on the information stored in the DB.
Well I did not get it resolved with ver 3.1.1. I scrapped everything and started fresh with their 3.2.1 beta.
The first beta I tried was the 258 build and was shockingly please for a beta! I installed the "simple" installation. This thing was very fast and stable! All my iSCSI LUNS connected without issue. The only problem I had was with the java console for the VMs.....but I think that was more on my workstation than the manager.
They are using MySQL for the backend of the simple installation and it is very noticeable. (and yes, I was told it would be a supported install)
They then updated the website with a newer build (35901). This resolved the problem that I was having with the console, but now have different iSCSI problems. I don't think it would be a problem if one uses just one SAN and one IP address for the SAN server. The system get confused with multiple SANs and complex setups.
3.2.1 is definitely going in the right direction....just wish they were a bit faster getting to the release version.....
Argh. I also had to add, remove and then re-add a SAN solution into our Oracle VM setup - and am getting this very same error:
Job Internal Error (Operation)com.oracle.ovm.mgr.api.exception.FailedOperationException: OVMAPI_B000E Storage plugin command [storage_plugin_list] failed for storage server [0004fb0000090000776d63df0c6a451f] failed with [com.oracle.ovm.mgr.api.exception.FailedOperationException: OVMAPI_4010E Attempt to send command: dispatch to server: ovm1 failed. OVMAPI_4004E Server Failed Command: dispatch https://?uname?:?firstname.lastname@example.org:8899/api/2 storage_plugin_list oracle.generic.SCSIPlugin.GenericPlugin, Status: exceptions.KeyError:'storage_id'
Does anyone know of a fix / workaround that does not involve upgrading to 3.2.1!?!?
