I'm tryin to load dim vals from workbenh to developer studio.
But not able to connect to workbench from developer studio workbench settings.Even the application name is not avalible in the app provisioed list.
I ran the initailize services but still not able to connect.
But thru localhost:8006 im able to log in to workbench.
Is thr any new configuration required to connect to workbench from developer studio.
Just a thought - I've certainly put a typo in for WB port when creating an app using the deployment template.
Can you check and validate that your AppConfig.xml has the right value for workbench port? Find it here:
<custom-component id="ConfigManager" host-id="ITLHost" class="com.endeca.soleng.eac.toolkit.component.ConfigManagerComponent">
<property name="webStudioEnabled" value="true" />
<property name="webStudioHost" value="YourWBHostDomainNameHere" />
<property name="webStudioPort" value="8006" />
If that jives, check in with your product as Kristen suggests and to know how to best advise you.
If Guided Nav, what errors are your receiving on initialize services?
Thanks responding. I did re-initialize the application however no error occurred and the script ran successfully. Still I don't see my application listed in Workbench. I am using workbench v3.1.1. I have two servers running apps with this version and both not displaying its APPLICATION IN WORKBENCH.
Please let me know how to fix this issue.
If you are having problems with communication between workbench and dev studio using 3.1.1, I recommend creating an SR and contacting support. Note that it's not recommended to use get/set instance config starting 3.1.x but you should still be able to discover dvals.
Thanks for the reply. It seems like application created with deployment template 3.2.2 cannot integrate with workbench 3.1.1. To enable the workbench integration, the application has to be created with toolandframework's deployment template. I am not sure whether it is a bug or the feature.
