You can use swipe gesture on specific components with the amx:actionListener component.1 person found this helpful
Yes, that is true, but can you navigate between pages in you taskflow by sliding?
Can you force a navigation to another page in an actionlister?
I think that this is a normal use-case in a touch phone to be able to slide right and/or left between a "stack of pages".
Take the navigation between the different "home"-pages on the iphone.
It depends on what you mean by 'navigating trough sliding'.1 person found this helpful
If you want to do it by using the slide gesture on a random place in your screen, it's nearly impossible.
But if you have, for example, a listView with mutiple items and you want to navigate to a specific page when using the
slide gesture then you can use the method Shay describes.
Thank you for the answer. But i cant see how to solve my problem.
You can swipe left and right on a listItem and through the actionListener you get an action (leftAction or rightAction on a backingbean).
But are you able to trigger a navigation in any of the actionlisteners? I have not found ant way of doing that.
I am facing the same issue. Did you find an answer to your question?
Mainly the question is can I do navigation from inside an actionListener? And if so, how?
I've found the link later yesterday and got it working for a list item.
I think i will put everything that is on that page inside a list item and reskin the list item, so that the user can do a slide action anywhere on the page.
