    xelsysadm, failed to be authenticated.

    732311
      Hi experts,
I'm trying to install Fusion Application but I can go ahead because I’ve some problem with OIM.

      - Linux 2.6.39-200.24.1.el6uek.x86_64 #1 SMP Sat Jun 23 02:39:07 EDT 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
      - Oracle Identity Management 11.1.1.6.0
      - Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production

I’ve installed OIM with LDAP Sync and everything seems going well. Unfortunately I can go ahead because:

      •     I’m not able to login to: http://server02:7777/oim with user xelsysadm (always login fail). I can’t find some logs about the reason of this error
      •     I can’t run LDAPConfigPostSetup.sh because I show back this error “xelsysadm, failed to be authenticated.”

Please share with me some idea because I tried to install some times but everytime without success.

      Thanks and best regards

below just some examples. I can't find more information on internet. Could you help me please?

After installing, did you integrate OIM with OAM. If so, you should be able to login as xelsysadm.

If you did not integrate, you need to use the below url to login to oim.

http://server02:14000/oim --> assuming you gave 14000 as the port for oim server.

            Thanks idamGod,
I tried on 7777 or 14000 (/oim) but nothing changed always display invalid login.
I shared with you the LDAP search and the password is the same.
What do you mean with “integrate OIM with OAM” During the config.sh I choice LDAP Sync, and integrated with OID
I’ve just traied this document [1234357.1], too. Nothing changed
Please let me know where I can find more information to sort my problem out.
            Thanks,
            Lain

You are saying you just enabled ldap sync while configuring oid. If that is the case, how come xelsysadm user got created in OID. I did not understand.

did you create this user manually in OID? if so, with out running ldap recon, these changes will not affect in OIM.

Try to login to oim with xelsysadm and the password you gave while configuring OIM not with the OID xelsysadm password.

I believe, by this time, xelsysadm user might have been locked if you try to login with wrong password more than 3 times.

                I didn't undestand.
I've enabled LDAP sync during the OIM configuration.
I've created xelsysadm and other user thanks by this command:
                ./idmConfigTool.sh -prepareIDStore mode=all input_file=idstore.props
I've removed the locked policy and trying with all kind of password without success.
please how I can enable a log or find something more, please?
                thanks

                  732311
I've changed the same password from:
                  1) EM: domain --> security --> credential and reset the password of xelsysadm
                  2) OID: search user and reset password on attribute
                  3) on ldap I can do a search with this password:
                  ldapsearch -h server02 -p 3060 -D "cn=xelsysadm,cn=Users,dc=adm,dc=local"  -b "dc=adm,dc=local" "(cn=xelsysadm)" -w Oracle123$
nothing I can't login with xelsysadm on OIM. I think that the problem is related to OIM for all that errors when I started
                  Any idea will be helpfully.
                  Regards

                      Dear idamGod,
I didn't find that error in my log and I've uid in my username attribute, so I should not change anything.
what kind of check I can do, please?
                      Thanks for your support.

I wish I could help you but I am not sure what step you missed causing this issue.

Can you go thru this video for OIM-OAM integration given in the metalink id 1345229.1 and try to find out if you miss any of the step.

I will. In the meantime. I've restarted everything and find just the file log with an "Error" from the start time:
                          [oracle@server02 ~]$ find /repository/fusion -newer /tmp/prova.txt -type f -name "*.log" -exec grep '<Error>' {} \; -print
What's your idea for these errors? I didn't find more on Internet. Below all my errors:

Looks like you installed OID 11.1.1.6, OIM and OAM 11.1.1.5
And enabled LDAP sync. Is that correct?

                              Dear 983629
I used all the fusion application 11.1.5 and this Fusion Middleware RCU ofm_rcu_win_11.1.1.6.0_disk1_1of1.zip (it's required only for windows, but I've used on linux too).
Do you think that I could be a problem?
                              Thanks

OID is not in 11.1.1.5. It is in 11.1.1.6
For OIM 11.1.1.5, you also need SOA 11.1.1.5.
RCU for windows and linux are different. It will say clearly in installation, which version it is.
For example see this download page
                                http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-enterprise-edition/downloads/bi-downloads-1525270.html
In the middle of the webpage you can see that 11.1.1.6, windows and linux rcu
From your earlier post, it seems that you installed OIM on Linux. So please use linux rcu in the above url.

                                At following url
                                http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/data-integrator/downloads/index.html
you can see both RCU 11.1.1.5 and 11.1.1.6, (linux and windows)

                                  Dear 983629,
I'm sorry, I made a mistake I used of course this file: "/Fusion_Middleware_Components/ofm_rcu_linux_11.1.1.6.0_disk1_1of1.zip". My server is a oracle linux and I did everything in the same host.
I've all the Oracle Fusion Application stack, OIM, SOA and so on.

rcu looks fine. Try first login to http://servername:14000/oim
and see if xelsysadm login works. you can mail me at karbk23 (yahoo dot com)
