Hi This issue is on the Data base side not on weblogic end.

You'd be better off in teh Database - General forum. But before you go there, let me leave you with a suggestion. Take web logic out of the picture for a moment. Can you 'ping' the vm 'orheldbdev' from the host? Can you open an ssh session on orheldbdev, from the host? If you can't do those two things, you need to address that before you try to get weblogic into the picture.
