The only way I see how to do this is to use different managed servers for this. As both version use the same name and namespace only on can be active in a managed server.
It can be done since it is working in one domain. Same name and same Managed Server and both are Active.
Deploy shared libraries for JSF 1.2 and JSF 2.0 together?
Or, deploy two web applications called "JSF"?
If the latter, provide a different context root, which would make the url for the application different.
Deploy shared libraries JSF 1.2 and 2.0 together.
We did a normal installation of Weblogic 10.3.6 and ADF 184.108.40.206 and now both JSF 1.2 and 2.0 is deployed on the same Managed Server and are Active. This puzzles me a bit since they both have the name JSF.
Use a different name for the shared libraries.
The shared library name may be configured in the Admin Console or the Middleware\user_projects\domains\base_domain\config\config.xml.
They need to have the same name since this is a standard library used by ADF. But you can add two libraries with the same name as long as you do it by editing directly in config.xml.
This works fine and the are both Active. Not nice though, but possible :-)
