    Sorting in ATG 10.1.2 and Endeca Commerce 3.1.1

      Hi all,

      I was wondering what happened to the sorting settings that was available in ATG 10.1.1 and Endeca Commerce 3.1.0?

      Before you could define sorters as such in the /atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/handler/ResultsList component:

      sorters=\
      NameDescending=/atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/sort/NameDescending,\
      Relevance=/atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/sort/Relevance,\
      NameAscending=/atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/sort/NameAscending,\

      Now in the new ATG Endeca 10.1.2 Integration Guide there no reference to sort at all!!??

      Does anyone know how to set sorters now? Do we have to extend com.endeca.infront.cartridge.ResultsListHandler on our own or is there a better mechanism?

      Thanks very much,
      Luc

          You can still configure sorters in the 10.1.2 release. The configuration goes on the same component, but the data type of the sorters property has changed. There was no need for the property to be a map. The map keys weren't used for anything. The new data type is an array of SortOptionConfig components. Configuration is simpler. The 10.1.2 Commerce Reference Store contains the following in ResultsListHandler.properties:
          sorters=\
          /atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/sort/Relevance,\
          /atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/sort/NameAscending,\
          /atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/sort/NameDescending,\
          /atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/sort/PriceAscending,\
          /atg/endeca/assembler/cartridge/sort/PriceDescending
