I need to advise on the impacts of changing the GL Summarization Option ( Accounting Options in Accounting Setup Manager) from Summarization by GL Period to No Summarization. The customer is on a recent upgraded instance from 11.0.3 to R12.1.3.
The SLA link patch has been run in the instance for upgraded transactions.
I searched the metalink bug database and found a reference to a gl drilldown not working in Cost Management after the change. Apart from that, I could not find any that would relate to issues encountered after changing the summarization option.
I am counting on the experience of the members in the forum, to share any information relating to the impacts while changing the summarization level in the gl transfer process.
