Pl document exactly what you are installing. If you are referring to 11gR2 database, then currently only 22.214.171.124 is certified to be installed on Linux 6.x
If you are installing 126.96.36.199 or 188.8.131.52, you will need to use Linux 5.x
And, no, you cannot skip the required RPMs :-)
I was looking for newer version of Oracle Enterprise 11g, but I only got 184.108.40.206,
What is the link to download version 220.127.116.11 ??
Thanks in advance.
Oracle Database versions 18.104.22.168 and 22.214.171.124 are only available at Oracle's Support site https://support.oracle.com , access to which requires a paid support contract with Oracle
Kindly find the prerequisite packages in the following note
Requirements for Installing Oracle 11gR2 RDBMS on RHEL6 or OL6 64-bit (x86-64) (Doc ID 1441282.1)
If you have newer than defined prerequisites, you can ignore these warnings and continue installation
