I think you are not able to install another XE because same database will not work on same machine.......and there is only option for install XE.... you can install enterprise edition and then you can install multiple db's with different name......
why it require 2 db's ... you can use two schema instead of another database...When I'm asking specifically for installing 2 database's, do u think it'll be same as creating 2 schema's ??
