Hi,1 person found this helpful
It depends on from which date you are extracting the data.
Ask your client from which year they want to report upon.Ex. from past one year or 2 year etc.I dont think client would be looking for 10 years old data.
BI apps gives you that flexibility that from which date you want to extarct data(Intial extract date you need to set).
Let me know if you need more information.Else please mark helpfull if it helps.
Thanks for the reply
EBS is having *12 year data and they want 10 year data* to be load in datawarehouse.
actually they are installing database for datawarehouse and they wanted to know the required size or disk space for that.
and that EBS is having 600GB of data.
If they want to see 10 years of data then its very difficult for me to tell you how much size is required.
You can do anyone or both of the following
1)Create an SR with Oracle and seek opinion from them on to suggest how much GB is required to store the data
2)Check with DBA's and understand approximately how much GB is required.
Oracle provides some sizing guidance for OBIA deployments. 600GB source volume is considered a "MEDIUM" size deployment (200GB-1TB). As per the guides, this the actual "Storage Space" for this deployment can range from 400GB-2TB.1 person found this helpful
