unable to get versioning data from manifest in netbeans

Hi all,
I'm new to JAVA and using Netbeans 7.2 as IDE and developing a desktop application.
When I run the compiled .jar file, all my version data from the manifest is read correctly. (I used the build.xml to put the data in the manifest) -> So no problem at all.

Now the issue is when I Hit F5 or ALT-F5 from within Netbeans and open the AboutForm. Now the output returns: nul (like it can't find the manifest.mf)

The code I use to retrieve the data:
Package pack = Package.getPackage("jim");
System.out.println(pack.getSpecificationVersion() + " build # " + pack.getImplementationVersion());
Since I want to display the data in an "aboutForm", the code is in this class.

I tried to copy (from the compile .jar) the META-INF/manifest (folder and file) to several places under the project, but without success.

Right now I spend almost a day on this and I can't get my head around it. Hope some recognises this and want so help me out.

regards
Alaric
