            Your disk is full so you blindly decide that ADRCI is the solution.
            This is like picking up a hammer when you find your basement full of water.
            It appears that you need to different solution to free up disk space.

            If you actually knew which files caused the disk to fill up in the first place,
            you might be able to determine how to stop the disk from filling up in the first place;
            instead of just hoping to delete them after they get created.

                  What you mean by More Data , Oracle will Recreate Alert log even you deleted .
                  • 21. Re: background dump
                    i have 2 nodes , i check the first node where is no issue i mena when i check the /home which contain the alert and trace is 40% and after 8 hour
                    it's same but the second node it is full in 2 hour also i delete the trace file and alert log file and oracle generate new alert its full
                    in 2 hour the /home is full .
                    • 22. Re: background dump
                      do you have any errors in alert ?
                      • 23. Re: background dump
                        change diagnostic_dest parameter to a file system with more space.. This will give you some more time to sort out the errors, and apply the patch that has been recommended.

                        a 25GB alert log file is ridiculous.
                        • 24. Re: background dump
                          no there is no error in alert log it's just wroring

                          can i retention the alert log and trace file

                          ex: if the alert log and trace file reach 1GB overwrite so i can avoid any issue and the alert and trace file not more than 1 GB ???
