Forms anti-aliasing strategy - matching in custom beans ?

      Using 11.1.1.6 & Windows 7 SP1 / IE 9.x / JRE 1.7 client.

We've recently upgraded from 11.1.1.4 running in a JRE 1.6 client and noticed that some of the fonts are rendering differently. It appears that the Forms applet is adopting some new/improved strategies to font anti-aliasing, and wondered if anyone new what strategies they're employing ? Turning text-anti-aliasing on in our custom java beans has lined up the bean renders more closely (but still not 100%) with what Forms appears to be doing natively in these versions. Wondered if anyone had played around with any of this ?

      Thanks,
