I will have to upgrade from 10g to 11g and i need to know how many gigabytes i need to do my upgrade, It depends of my database size?
There are a quick method in order to know that?
i read : Checklist for Manual Upgrades to 11gR2 [ID 837570.1] but i think that it isn't enough.
Thanks and regards.
Do you want to upgrade database at same server?
Using DBUA or exp/imp ?
If you plan to upgrade in standard plan (on same server and using DBUA), You do not need to prepare disk except new ORACLE_HOME.
Pl post exact OS and database versions. Correct - you will need space for the new 11g ORACLE_HOME (approx 5 or 6 G) - after the upgrade to the new version is completed successfully, you will be able to delete the old ORACLE_HOME and reclaim that space
Thanks for your answer:
