We found that increasing JTA timeout on the domain resolved this issue.
where we need to increase the JTA timeout?
You will find the JTA timeout under Domain --> JTA
There you will find timeout value you can increase the value there.
In case it helps - I'm writing a .Net 4 program that used the Oracle.DataAccess.dll as its data provider. To resolve another problem, we switched to using Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.dll. We immediately started getting the ORA-03111 when the program tried to open the connection. Switching back to the old .dll fixed the problem.
