          Please check environment variable.

          Also look into this

-bash: sqlplus: command not found / Oracle file permissons

To make the picture clearer, it is continuing the thread Re: 11.2.2
Are you sure you set the same env. variables of oracle user on the target as is on source server ? Such as ORACLE_HOME, LD_LIBRARY_PATH...

            Nicolas.

              set all oracle env parameter
              then run:-

              $ORACLE_HOME/bin/relink all

after finish relink please try to connect sqlplus

new system must have gcc installed on it.

thanks for your quick answer but when i check the docs it's said there is no need to install the packages
due to it's cloning with everything software and referances ?? also i can't run yum due to this server is oracle linux 5.6
and it is test and not register :
                    yum install gcc

                    .
                    .
                    .

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
                                            package-cleanup --dupes
                                            rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.
                    please i need your advice

What docs stated that? All I've seen posted in this thread are links to blogs. And blogs are not the official docs. Having a blog is no guarantee that the person writing the blog know what he is talking about. I've seen some that appear to be written by a guy that could say "Yesterday I couldn't spell Oracle, now I'm an expert".

I would not expect an ORACLE_HOME clone operation to also pull over OS -level packages.
also i can't run yum due to this server is oracle linux 5.6
and it is test and not register :

                      .
                      .
                      .

What does being "test and not register" have to do with it? I build a 5.6 server under virtual box almost every week. They are not registered with ULN and I have no problem at all installing the latest gcc from Oracle's public yum server.

so now you mean i must install virtual box and then install the oracle linux 5.6 and i can install any package that i want ???

I can't say you "must" install Virtual Box because I don't know what the requirement and usage of this server is. But I can say I have VBox installed on both my company desktop and my personal laptop, I have multiple vms' created on both, most of which run some update of Oracle Linux 5, and I download packages all the time.

if yes please share with me the link of virtual box in order to downloaded.
Google is your friend, but only if you use it. I'd be embarrassed to ask such a question.
