    Pre-upgrade steps - Note 884201.1


      I am going through the 'Pre-upgrade' section in the Upgrade Guide Release 11i to 12.1.1 (E16342-04)

      I am confused in the Enterprise Asset Management section regarding Install Base Parameters and following note 884201.1

      I have licensed CSI and given myself the 'Customer Support' responsibility
      I have navigated to Customer Management / Contact Centre and need to create a new Internal Party

      It seems to allow me to create a Contact or Customer party, which do I do ?
      If Customer, I presume the type should be Organization.

      I have looked for guidance on this on Oracle Support and the internet and can't seem to find any.

      I would be grateful for any advice.
