cluster version -11.2.0.2.
Db version- 11.1.0.7

I have dropped the DB and removed the listener . I want to remove resources associated with this DB to be removed from my cluster.
Can you please help in this. Is there any speical things i need to consider before removing it from cluster.

(I have to remove the Database Resource like Service/Instance/Database)

crs_unregister <resource-name>

is above command right to remove resource??

Thanks,
Amith

crs_unregister (and any other crs_% utility) is deprecated.
The best way to remove resources (I think) is with the srvctl utility.

Using crs_* commands on resources with the prefix ora.* (resources provided by Oracle) never was supported since CRS 10.1.

You must remove resources with the prefix ora.* using srvctl of version that it was created. (e.g Database/Services of 11.1.0.7 must be managed by srvctl of ORACLE_HOME 11.1.0.7)

    Thanks,

I have used srvctl to remove the resources.

    Stopped the DB
    1. srvctl remove database -d dbname.
(removes all the reosurces related to DB like services, instances from cluster).

Stopped the Listener and removed the listener of all with below syntax

    2. srvctl remove listener -n <node_name> [-l <listener_name>].

That cleared all my resources from cluster.
