Has anyone encountered a problem with external learning events that require approval within your enterprise but which have access controlled by the vendor?
This would presumably cause a problem with importing the online content. If the vendor sends a file to the user containing logon credentials in a link to the training, each link would be unique and therefore make it impossible to import the url for the content.
External training requires prior approval due to cost. The content resides on a third-party server, and the URL pointing to that content is unique to each user.
My question is this: Who would my organization manage (e.g. approve, track) completion of this training without having control over the content itself (via either content server control or static URL)?
Do you know if the external vendor supports AICC integration with LMS Systems? Typically in this case it is a common URL used by all users and the AICC integration creates the user account on the content vendors side if the user hasn't accessed the content before.
