I'm in the process to configure a new EMC 12 C system and after subcribe to out the box incident rules.
I'm receiving emails with events like:
Average service time for disk sdkt is 40 ms, crossed warning (10) or critical (20) threshold.
EM Event: Critical:ie_colldesk_iecolld4 - Metrics "Global Cache Average Current Get Time" is at 1.034
However, If we have a lock issue I don't receive any email.
Any know what I need to do to receive email with this type of events?
Are you referring to Blocking sessions in the database?
The out-of-box rulesets work on all the metric alert events raised in the Console, so you should first verify from the Enterprise -> Monitoring -> Incident Manager whether an event has been created for the 'lock issue'. You can search based on the target name and the required metric name.
You need to copy the out of box incident rule to modify it. Then you can add that particular metric to notify.
