Hello,

We had to change our subnet from 10.19.55.0 to 10.19.62.0.

In our two node RAC cluster 11.2.0.3.5 we issues this command (ID 952903.1)

# srvctl modify nodeapps -n m-lrkdb1 -A 10.19.62.49/255.255.255.0/eth0
# srvctl modify nodeapps -n m-lrkdb2 -A 10.19.62.51/255.255.255.0/eth0

Before the change

# srvctl config nodeapps -a
Network exists: 1/10.19.55.0/255.255.255.0/eth0, type static
VIP exists: /m-lrkdb1-vip/10.19.55.151/10.19.55.0/255.255.255.0/eth0, hosting node m-lrkdb1
VIP exists: /m-lrkdb2-vip/10.19.55.152/10.19.55.0/255.255.255.0/eth0, hosting node m-lrkdb2

After the change

# srvctl config nodeapps -a
Network exists: 1/10.19.62.0/255.255.255.0/eth0, type static
VIP exists: /10.19.62.49/10.19.62.49/10.19.62.0/255.255.255.0/eth0, hosting node m-lrkdb1
VIP exists: /10.19.62.51/10.19.62.51/10.19.62.0/255.255.255.0/eth0, hosting node m-lrkdb2

Why does config nodeapps -a not show the vip names m-lrkdb1-vip and m-lrkdb1-vip after the change?
And does this indicate there is a problem? All seems oke, but we just want to make sure.

Hope you can help us further, because we are planning this subnet change for our production cluster.

Regards,
Tim
