Are you right in saying that's what the docs say? If that's what the docs say, then that's what they say.
Always net service name = tns alias.name. (Again , If my understanding is wrong , please reply)
yes, 'net service name' is just another term that means the same thing as 'tns alias name'.

I got answer but you asked me what documents saying ?

                - what the docs say? If that's what the docs say, then that's what they say.

This is from 11g  and saying

                http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14072_01/network.112/e10835/tnsnames.htm

Example 6-1 Basic Format of tnsnames.ora File

                net_service_name=
                (DESCRIPTION=
                (ADDRESS=(protocol_address_information))
                (CONNECT_DATA=
                (SERVICE_NAME=service_name)))

This  is from 10g  and saying

connect descriptor mapped to a TNS alias called sales in the tnsnames.ora file:

                http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/win.102/b14307/featConnecting.htm#sthref113

SO i am confused , and you said 'net service name' is just another term that means the same thing as 'tns alias name'.
                Now i am  clear..

                Thanks ..
