Can Oracle Database Firewall monitor sysdba and sysoper?
Feb 28, 2013 2:08 PM
We have oracle databases from 10g to 184.108.40.206. I would like to know if Oracle database firewall can monitor sysdba and sysoper actions?

in response to
Database Firewall monitors network traffic so it can only monitor sysdba and sysoper activity if it is not done locally. In other words, you would need to enable remote sysdba logons.
The only way to monitor local sysdba and sysoper activity is to set up auditing of sys operations and then add a directory audit trail on the AVDF AV server.
