Could not login apex 4.2.1

I am not able to login to my apex 4.2.1 page and it throws error after issuing the URL http://hostname:8090/apex/apex_admin.
Using Tomcat of version 6.0 and accessing the apex.

Error Message:

HTTP Status 404 - Not Found

description The requested resource (Not Found) is not available.


Apache Tomcat/6.0.24


Db: 11.1.0.7.0
OS: RHEL 5.0

    Hi,

    as you can see in your catalina.log, the APEX Listener failed on your Tomcat due to an issue with the JDBC driver. Since the deployment has been stopped, it's not very surprising you get a 404 when calling the context...

    Now, which APEX Listener version are you trying to deploy? (1.1.4 or 2.0) And which JDK is used by your Tomcat? (Should be at least 1.6 Update 20, preferably higher...)
