The below code might be required adding to that blog shared by our friend Nagireddy.
Just in case try it out.
Modify <oracle_home>\OracleBIData\web\config\instanceconfig.xml and add the <JVMOptions> tag to increase JVM heap size :
<JVMOptions>-Xms256m -Xmx512m </JVMOptions>
Let us know updates
I tried by increasing the size in <XMLP> tag llike mentioned in the blog and restarted the service, but then too the same error as i couldnt print it in pdf.
What could be the problem.
Though you pointed to a 10g location of instance config file.
I tried by adding the JVMOptions tag in both instance config and also tried in config.xml file but then too the issue remains.
This is the tag according to the javahome in my machine.
Couldnt find the exact reason behind this problem.
<JavaHome>C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.6.0_07</JavaHome> <JavaHost> <JVMOptions>-Xms256m -Xmx512m </JVMOptions> </JavaHost>
Even though version is different fix is same just in case check this 1369983.11 person found this helpful
In instanceconfig.xml for OBIPS:
once you done with changes restart all bi services and see how it works
If this is not helping then go for the patch 22.214.171.124.8

I tried in that way two but the pdf printing is not working in my machine. Else i need to go for patch 126.96.36.199.8 it seems.
But the pdf printing is working well with the other machine where the BI 188.8.131.52 is installed.
Not sure with the problem in my machine.
