i am using this List Template, i would like to know where can i find the different Icon names i can use. It's not immediately clear where we can find this list list template. When you have a problem you'll get a faster, more effective response by including as much relevant information as possible upfront. This should include:
With digging, by default a gear appears and if i put in List Details (Shared Components), at the User Defined Attributes, the 2nd one, the value chartIcon, then an Iconic Chart appears at the list Item as a Symbol. This list template uses the CSS Sprite technique, with <tt>class</tt> attributes controlling which icon is displayed from those available in the sprite image. It's essentially the same technique Shakeeb describes for buttons: here you put the required class name in field 2 of the list entry's User Defined Attributes.
I want to know, what values i can put there and for what symbols (i guess there should exist some alternatives by default).
In the list template, subtext is represented by attribute substitution string #A01# and the icon is represented by attribute substitution string #A02#. So create your dynamic list using a query like below example:
SELECT null, state_name label, null target, null is_current, null image, null image_attribute, null image_alt_attribute, (case when st = 'AK' then 'Report to edit Alaska' when st = 'AL' then 'Report to edit Alabama' when st = 'AR' then 'Report to edit Arkansas' when st = 'AZ' then 'Report to edit Arizona' when st = 'CA' then 'Report to edit California' when st = 'CO' then 'Report to edit Colorado' when st = 'CT' then 'Report to edit Connecticut' when st = 'DC' then 'Report to edit District of Columbia' end) attribute1, (case when st = 'AK' then 'calendarIcon' when st = 'AL' then 'userIcon' when st = 'AR' then 'switchIcon' when st = 'AZ' then 'formIcon' when st = 'CA' then 'dashboardIcon' when st = 'CO' then 'chartIcon' when st = 'CT' then 'gearIcon' when st = 'DC' then 'reportIcon' end) attribute_2 FROM demo_states where st in ('AK','AL','AR','AZ','CA','CO','CT','DC')
