    It connection works regurlaly is strange, if fail from time to time maybe a network problem, high latences, networks cuts, etc. ask for help to your net admin.

    Looking at the error codes

    $ oerr ora 12535
    12535, 00000, "TNS:operation timed out"
    // *Cause: The requested operation could not be completed within the time out
    // period.
    // *Action: Look at the documentation on the secondary errors for possible
    // remedy. See SQLNET.LOG to find secondary error if not provided explicitly.
    // Turn on tracing to gather more information.

    $ oerr ora 12606
    12606, 00000, "TNS: Application timeout occurred"
    // *Cause:  A network session did not reach an application-defined stage
    // within the allowed time interval.
    // *Action: This is an error which does not normally appear at the high level.
    // The action to take is application specific, and is detailed in the
    // higher level error description.

    $ oerr ora 03136
    03136, 00000, "inbound connection timed out"
    // *Cause:  Inbound connection was timed out by the server because
    // user authentication was not completed within the given time
    // specified by SQLNET.INBOUND_CONNECT_TIMEOUT or its default value
    // Action: 1) Check SQLNET and RDBMS log for trace of suspicious connections.
    // 2) Configure SQL*NET with a proper inbound connect timeout value
    // if necessary.

    What is the value of your sqlnet.inbound_connect_timeout?

    Have you checked the database alert log for related errors?

    Running a sqlnet trace to try to find if these errors are coming from one source would likely be a necessary action if you want to get to the root cause.

    the most common cause for TNS Timeout is a FireWall on or between client & DB Server.
    Is this error only associated with a single remote IP#?

    Can you confirm any successful remote session from this same IP#?

    An attempt was made to talk to the database by a remote session. This attempt timed out. I tend to see this whenever the client (usually an app server) is having performance issues or network issues. Alternatively, it could be because you have a networking problem between the client and the database server.
