    You're right.. I too don't see any meaning in naming anything other than the default of LISTENER. This naming convention was done by my predecessors... I just merely follow their naming convention..

    Unfortunately, there is no lines that contain "12535".. "TNS-12502" happens when I was doing the telnet from client...

    Then you are looking at the wrong listener.log file
    12535, 00000, "TNS:operation timed out"
    // *Cause: The requested operation could not be completed within the time out
    // period.
