Hi,1 person found this helpful
I know almost zip about pop ups. But let me ask. Have you done many of these? Are you using a standard approach? Did you consult some examples? I see some examples here: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=31517:23:5397045873236::NO
I'll be the last one to discourage someone from coding something the way they want to code it ... BUT being almost a novice, I'm depending on the standard features as much as possible for now. And I'm trying to understand how they work!
Well actually I found out a way to do it. I call the Pop-up window when the user clicks on a button to select a project for the application. All work for the session is then filtered by that project. The pop-up displays a list of projects and then when the user selects one, the popup closes.

Ahh! And now you're leaving us in suspense! Reference please!
Here are some good references:
Hope these help. You really just have to play with the code a little to get the behavior that you want. Also, have an HTML Reference Book handy.
Would you mark my comments as helpful? If you see that option on my posts and click, that would be great. I could use the 'points'. :)
I'd be honored. Hmm. But you do know: Only the person who poses the question can award points? Right?
I wasn't sure. I'm a newbie and I guess my score is still zero! YIKES! Buahahahaa... But I answered my own question! :) Your info was helpful and I marked it that way too. So you get points from this thread!
