Executing custom code on an TCP Extend Proxy

Is it possible to run some code on Extend TCP Proxy node to check if the coherence cluster that it is connected to is up or not. If the cluster is not up, then the proxy node should return some error to the connecting clients.

Thanks,
gg

    Hi gg,

Yes. If you send an Invocable to an InvocationService from an extend client, it will always run on the proxy.

If you are inside the cluster, then you can send an Invocable to the proxy be using the appropriate Member object.

    Best regards,

    Robert
