Solution is here.
Reason: By default when installer is run, a few jar files are created in /tmp folder which are to executed during installation. But /tmp folder has no execution permissions for non-root user.
This throws two exceptions
1) In a terminal, move to the /tmp directory.
2) execute "df ." without quotes
3) execute "mount" commnad
/dev/mapper/vg1-tmp on /tmp type ext4 (rw, noexec,nosuid,nodev,nobarrier)
If noexec is shown, it means no execute permissions for the files in /tmp directory.
4) No as root user perform below command
mount /tmp -o remount, rw
5) Now run the installer and it works.... cheers.... :) :) :)
