Desktop application to web application:

Current Versions:_
Operating System:
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 enterprise edition service pack2 (32 bit)
Oracle database:
Oracle 8i enterprise edition release 8.1.6.0.0     
Oracle Application:
Developer 2000(forms and reports)
I want to convert this platform to be web based. So kindly suggest me what to do?
What are the preferable Operating System, Oracle Database Version and Oracle Application version.
db size is =600mb to 1gb

    Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) is Oracle's primary developement platform, so the answer might be quite obvious...
    Oracle Database Version and Oracle Application version.
    Again, the answer seems obvious : the last available, 11g for both. However, it's a long long time I haven't used Developer 2000 anymore, I can say that we hadn't had almost any problems in converting 6i forms to 11g.
    db size is 600mb to 1gb
    You'll have problems with such a huge size... :-)

    From Developer 2000 to Developer 11g is a pretty big upgrade. I don't believe it can be done in one step. You need to upgrade to Developer 6i first.
    You might want to contact a specialised company, like Pitts.
