Dear all,

I need to install SMA service on our Sun Solaris box. But after install the following package, service SMA still not exit in "svcs -a" command.
I installed these packages to deploy SMA service.
bash-3.00# pkginfo | grep sma
system      SUNWsmaS                     System Management Agent source files
system      SUNWsmagt                    System Management Agent files and libraries
system      SUNWsmapi                    Storage Management APIs
Show SMA service by svcs command :
bash-3.00# svcs -a | grep sma

Could anybody help to find the package I miss ?

    Try this:

    svccfg import /var/svc/manifest/application/management/sma.xml

    Dear bobthesungeek76036,

After execute your command above, I still not find the SMA Service. Feel free to check the output of this command :
    bash-3.00# svccfg import /var/svc/manifest/application/management/sma.xml
svccfg: Scope "localhost" changed unexpectedly (service "application/management/sma" added).
svccfg: Could not refresh svc:/application/management/sma:default (deleted).
    bash-3.00#
    bash-3.00# svcs -a | grep sma
    bash-3.00# svcs -a | grep management
    bash-3.00# svcs -xv
    svc:/application/print/server:default (LP print server)
State: disabled since Wed Dec 05 14:04:45 2012
    Reason: Disabled by an administrator.
    See: http://sun.com/msg/SMF-8000-05
    See: man -M /usr/share/man -s 1M lpsched
Impact: 1 dependent service is not running:
    svc:/application/print/rfc1179:default

Server is using Sun Solaris 10.
    bash-3.00# uname -a
    SunOS NMS01 5.10 Generic_138888-07 sun4u sparc SUNW,SPARC-Enterprise
