OBIEE 10g--You can find out in the Administartion-->Groups
OBIEE 11g--Enterprise manager-->Roles
mark if helpful/correct...
we are using Obiee 11.5, my id was under administrator ,,
Id some one is in Admin Group ,, do they need to be added to each group individuallyy
Yes in weblogic is you use WLS LDAP ( defualt authentication ) you should assign each user to the group then they get that role in OBIEE :)1 person found this helpful

BIAdministrators group should only be Admin who knows what to do in OBIEE else it would be catastrophic to give user Admin rights on Presentation.1 person found this helpful
I would say add them to BIAuthor group if they can create reports and dashboard.
Else put them in BIConsumers group just to be able to run/consume the existing reports.
Hope this helps. Pls mark if it does.
